Tom Bohan
With nearly three decades of legal experience, Tom Bohan is a deeply knowledgeable attorney whose career spans an impressive range of practice areas and industries. His work is distinguished by a commitment to percision, client education, and delivering value in every transaction.
Tom received his Bachelor in Arts in Psychology from Boston College in 1991, where he developed early insight into human behavior, decision-making, and communication skills that have informed his legal approach ever since. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law in 1997 and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia that same year, followed by licensure in Massachusetts in 2001.
He began his legal career at a respected mid-sized law firm in Macon, Georgia, where he developed broad-based litigation and advisory experience in bankruptcy, probate and estates, landlord/tenant law, employment discrimination, and contract disputes. For more than a decade, Tom practiced before the bankruptcy courts of the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia, earning a reputation for his methodical analysis, persuasive advocacy, and reliability under pressure.
Over the past 12 years, Tom has focused his practice on residential and commercial treal estate transactional law, with deep expertise in title abstracting, contract drafting, negotiation and commercial leasing. His work includes advising on estates and probate, real estate finance, and property due diligence.
Licensed as a real estate professional in Georgia, Tom combines legal insight with real-world market understanding. He brings a holistic perspective to every transaction-guiding clients through the legal, strategic, and logistical elements of a deal with transparency and foresight. He takes particular pride in helping individuals and businesses understand the documents they're signing and ensuring they receive the bargain they intend to make.
Tom is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia, State Bar of Massachusetts, Georgia Association of Realtors, Georgia Real Property Law Section, American Land Title Association (ALTA), the Southeast Land Title Association (SLTA), and the Houston County Bar Association.
He is also committed to pro bono legal service, contributing time and expertise to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and The Rainbow House, helping provide stability and shelter to vulnerable families.

Having endured the profound loss of both his first and second wives to cancer, he brings a deeply human, compassionate presence to all his interactions.
