Bridgette Cooper

Bridgette Cooper is a lifelong resident of Warner Robins and an accomplished attorney with twenty-seven years of legal experience. She earned dual degrees in Physics and International Studies from Duke University, graduating magna cum laude in 1995, and went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law, also magna cum laude, in 1998. During law school, she was an active member of the Mock Trial Team. Bridgette began her career as a litigator at a large multinational firm before returning to Warner Robins to establish a practice rooted in service to individuals, families, and businesses in her community.

Bridgette provides strategic and practical legal counsel across a range of transactional areas, including intellectual property, commercial and residential real estate transactions, real estate development, commercial leasing, trusts and estates, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital investments, franchising and licensing, joint ventures, debt and structured financings, project finance, and corporate governance. She represents a wide range of clients—from individuals and small businesses to publicly traded corporations, REITs, private equity firms, and financial institutions. She has particular experience in the hospitality, retail, food service, agriculture, technology, and healthcare sectors.

Bridgette is fluent in Spanish and is admitted to practice before the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Northern, and Southern Districts of Georgia, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and holds title agency licenses in Florida and Alabama. She is a member of the American Land Title Association, State Bar of Georgia, American Bar Association, Southeast Land Title Association, and the Houston County Bar Association.

Deeply rooted in serice and civic engagement, Bridgette exemplifies a professional life dedicated not only to legal excellence but also to community enrichment, youth empowerment, and faith-based service. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to giving back through pro bono counsel, board leadership, charitable contributions, and volunteerism.

Bridgette has generously offered her legal expertise to several respected organizations, serving as counsel to Habitat for Humanity, the Homebuilder's Association of Middle Georgia, the Mortgage Banker's Association, and the Diocese of Savannah Office of Construction & Properties. Her work in these roles has suppoerted affordable housing, construction oversight, ethical lending practices, and property development with long-lasting community impact.

In addition to her legal contributions, Brigette has held multiple leadership positions on nonprofit and civic boards, including: Perry Area Chamber of Commerce, Friends of the Perry Animal Shelter, Build Local, Inc, Houston County Development Authority, Catholic Foundation of South Georgia, Mission Gen 50:20, Inc. These roles reflect her wide-ranging interests in economic development, animal welfare, local entrepreneurship, and faith-based philanthropy. Her outstanding service has been recognized by the Diocese of Savannah, which honored her with the prestigious Bishop Garland Recognition of Service Award-a testament to her integrity, generosity, and dedication of Catholic values.

A devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bridgette also invests her time in supporting youth programs, both as a volunteer and a benefactor. She regularly contributes to an participates in athletic, educational, and enrichment activities for children and teens, believing strongly in the importance of mentorship, opportunity, and well-rounded development for the next generation.

At home, Bridgette finds her greatest joy in her large and vibrant family. She and her husband are proud parents to nine living children, and she balances her many professional and community responsibilities with an active and fufilling family life. Outside of her legal and civic work, Bridgette enjoys spending time with her loved ones, creating art, writing, cooking, and taking part in a variety of outdoor and athletic activities-whether as a participant or enthusiastic supporter.

Experience: Her professional accomplishments include closing a nine-figure sale of a regional retail company, representing high-net-worth estates, closing the sale of nine figure manufacturing company, representing sellers in a large hospitality conglomerate, advising on mergers and acquisitions of food service consortium, sale of automotive enterprise, representing a waste company in connection with divestiture of domestic and foreign assets, and counsel to a regional bank in connection with its merger. She has also represented clients in opportunity zone investments, the acquisition of defense contractors and manufacturing firms, and governance restructuring for nonprofit organizations.
